Danelec is heading back to Hamburg in September as SMM, the world’s largest commercial trade exhibition opens its doors for the first time since 2018. Taking place at the Hamburg Messe + Congress on 6^th – 9^th September, SMM 2022 promises a return to form with 11 exhibition halls packed with companies and organisations from all over the world.

You’ll find us on stand B6.525 where innovative digital solutions and operational technology from both Danelec and Kyma will be on the spotlight. We’re gearing up to show several new and updated products including a brand new module for the Kyma Shaft Power Meter, pending type approval, that will help ship owners and operators comply with new IMO regulations coming into force next year and use the data collected to support more operational efficiency.

We are also planning to launch a new and expanded solution for customers who have total focus on collecting data and transferring it using the maritime Internet of Things (IoT). The system will allow even more sensor connections so that large vessels or those with extensive automated monitoring systems for diverse equipment are able to utilise a single hub for data management on board.

This also leads us to DanelecConnect, which also has some changes in the pipeline that we hope to announce in Hamburg. We’re looking at ways to offer more choice and reduce costs via web-based add-on subscriptions, ensuring that our customers experience a completely customised service delivery that suits their own technical needs and budgets.
