Next stop, Posidonia 2022

While the event has been in hiatus since 2018 due to Covid-19, the Posidonia International Shipping Exhibition returns to the ‘Metropolitan Expo’ centre, located in the Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” complex, on 6-10 June 2022.

We are looking forward to exhibiting on stand 1.562, where we will focus on products and services such as VDR technology and installation, ship performance monitoring and the cloud, as well as Danelec and KYMA joining forces to create the global leader in maritime data collection and smart shipping technologies: Together we have a >10.000 vessels installed base!

With Greece’s position as a world-class ship-owning nation, operating 20% of global and 50% of European capacity, Posidonia is one of the most popular international shipping industry exhibitions. The facts and figures speak for themselves; the 2018 exhibition attracted 2009 exhibiting companies, 451 of which were from Greece and the remaining 1558 coming from 92 different countries and regions.

Posidonia 2022 is not expected to be quite as large as this because the shipping industry is still trying to return to normal after the global pandemic, but the positivity and buoyancy we saw at Nor-Shipping 2022 in April is sure to be prevalent in Athens next month.

In addition to meeting with our recently expanded Greek and Cypriot partner network as well as international partners and end-users on our stand, we also hope to launch at least two new products during the exhibition, so watch out for new capabilities added to VDR family and the Vessel Remote Server (VRS) product line.
