New Danelec HQ officially open for business

We’re delighted to report that after a fantastic opening event today, the Danelec HQ is officially open for business. Our new base of operations is in Farum, Denmark, which is only 23 kilometers from the centre of Copenhagen, and just around the corner from our old HQ of more than 20 years.

The decision to move to our modern, newly renovated building came as we continue to grow our business globally and the spacious, bright new offices with dedicated training facilities and a high-tech testing lab are the perfect location to continue building on our success over the last two decades.

The opening event was attended by around 100 people, Danelec’s Top Management, Board Members, employees operating out of our Headquarters along with their families as well as business partners, suppliers and last but far from least friends.

“Today was the end of a long journey to move our business to a more suitable building with the room to expand and facilities we need to continue our success in the VDR, Ship Performance Monitoring and maritime IoT markets,” said Casper Jensen.

The new building measures over 2000 m² and features a large car park for staff and visitors. It’s well positioned for easy visitor access by train or road, but our new state-of-the-art meeting rooms with built-in video conference facilities mean that we can save time and reduce our carbon footprint by conducting more meetings remotely.

“The new HQ comes at a time of transformation for Danelec,” added Casper. “Our organic growth combined with the integration of the Kyma team and Ship Performance Monitoring product line has changed both the shape and face of the company, and we are confident that our new organization and new HQ in Denmark, will continue to deliver value and innovative new solutions for our customers globally.”
