Looking ahead to Nor-Shipping 2022

It’s just over two years since the first Covid-19 lockdowns and the maritime and shipping business is finally ready to get back together en masse, as the Nor-Shipping conferenece and exhibition returns on April 4-7 April 2022.

Taking place not far from Oslo, in Lillestrøm, Norway, Nor-Shipping is one of the biggest events on the maritime calendar. In 2019, it attracted over 30,000 visitors and nearly 48,000 particpants in toal, with 846 exhibiting companies.

While Nor-Shipping 2022 isn’t expected to be quite such an expansive affair due to on-going travel concerns caused by the pandemic, it is set to be a very important meeting place for thousands of visitors and conference delegates. Its also an important event for Danelec as it marks the very first time that KYMA and Danelec will be sharing a common stand since the merger last December.

Nor-Shipping 2022 gives us the opportunity to show the markets how KYMA and Danalec joining forces can deliver even more value, with a unique joint and complementary offering of Voyage Data Recorders, Ship Performance Monitoring and maritime IoT infrastructure solutions.

We’re expecting a lot of interest in developments between KYMA and Danelec so it will be all hands on deck at Nor-Shipping. Danelec’s senior management team including CEO, Casper Jensen, CTO, Claus Borum and our CCO, Christian Kock, will be attending the event along with KYMA’s Sjur Clementsen, Tim Fredrik Hagen-Johansen, Halldor Rognve and Erik Hagestuen.
