Beginning in 2007 Daniels Electronics will offer customers the option to sign up for a maintenance contract that extends the suite of Daniels maintenance services beyond the standard 2 year warranty for a fixed annual price. The goal of this maintenance contract is to extend Daniels factory quality service to your organization. Utilizing Daniels to perform ongoing depot maintenance, repair and service, frees up your technicians to address in the field issues and deployments, while benefiting from Daniels expertise and efficiency in servicing its own product for you.

The Daniels Technical Services team will provide fast turn around on radio repairs, product upgrades, as well as product testing and tuning. Services will be performed at the Daniels factory which is a state of the art facility for testing and repair using the latest test and assembly equipment. The Daniels Electronics Ltd. factory is ISO 9001:2000 certified and maintains this certification through mandatory internal audits and annual inspections.

The Daniels Electronics maintenance contract can provide 5 services to support your installed base of Daniels radio systems:

  1. Failed Unit Repair - Daniels will provide a failed unit repair service for any failed unit returned. This service applies to all Daniels MT-3 and MT-4 modules.
  2. Performance testing of radios for optimal operation (preventative maintenance) to ensure that Daniels radios modules are operating to factory, or customer specifications.
  3. Advance Replacement - To reduce the amount of spares inventory that the customer needs to maintain and to expedite shipment of units sent for repair, Daniels Electronics can offer an advance replacement service. With an advanced replacement module, tuned and configured for the anticipated need, the technician can effectively complete the site repair on the first site visit and return the failed unit for repair.
  4. Upgrades - All modules returned will be upgraded to the latest version of that module that ensures the legal and safe operation of that module based on the use it was originally designed and purchased for.
  5. Retuning - Daniels Electronics can offer a retuning service to adjust the frequency of any operational module in order to operate at a new frequency for redeployment applications.
