Universal Interface Card (UIC)
The Daniels digital Universal Interface card (UIC) provides an Ethernet connection from the Daniels MT-4 P25 radio system to other LMR subsystems in a P25 network.
The first commercial release of the UIC provides PCM based audio, encryption over the air and a suite of control signals to the console.
Daniels Electronics’ second commercial release of the Universal Interface Card (UIC) will comply with the TIA Fixed Station Interface (FSI) Document. This will include IMBE vocoding, end-to-end digital voice transmission, encryption support, RTP protocol, multiple simultaneous console communication and unit ID and emergency ID. Daniels is also planning to support digital interfaces to additional console vendors. Go to the UIC Download Page to download the latest version.
