Besides the RF modules, additional hardware is required to make a complete Daniels radio system. Typical hardware includes a subrack, control card and a system regulator.

The control card routes the PTT, COR, audio and other signals and the system regulator provides voltage regulation, metering and monitoring functions. In addition to this, various packaging options (cabinets, cases) are available. Power supplies and a variety of accessory items may also be added to system configuration.
