DANIELS LAUNCHES SITE MONITORING PRODUCTVictoria, B.C. Canada - September 7, 2004 – Daniels Electronics Ltd., a leading supplier of high reliability radio repeaters for remote public safety applications, today announced the launch of the SITE / MC product for site monitoring, alarming and remote control. The SITE / MC will allow public safety agencies and natural resource organizations with mission critical communication systems the ability to constantly monitor the status of their remote radios, thus ensuring continuous problem free operation. “The SITE / MC’s addition to our product portfolio provides our customers with improved operational control resulting in increased reliability.” said Terry Daniels, President of Daniels Electronics Ltd. “This is inline with our vision to provide high reliability radio systems for critical safety applications.” The Daniels Electronics SITE / MC is a telemetry device for site monitoring, alarming and remote control. The SITE / MC monitors inputs from up to 8 analog and 8 digital sensors and transmits the data via radio back to a master site. Commands may also be sent to the SITE / MC to control up to 8 outputs. SITE / MC can control functionality at the remote radio site (typically located on a mountaintop) and correct problems before they affect communications, all without the need to dispatch service crews via helicopter.
