DANIELS AND AEROFLEX ANNOUNCE COLLABORATION

Victoria, B.C. Canada - June 15, 2004 - Daniels Electronics Ltd., a leading supplier of high reliability radio repeaters for remote public safety applications, today announced it has entered into a collaborative agreement with Aeroflex to provide a custom suite of tests for their IFR 2975 Project 25 Digital Radio Test Set. The Daniels P25 digital radios are deployed throughout North America and one of the preferred test sets for maintaining the radio modules is the Aeroflex IFR 2975.

According to Ken Parks, Daniels Technical Service Manager, "The Daniels radios offer our customers tremendous flexibility for use in a wide range of applications. To support their ability to configure our equipment for their applications they require a comprehensive tester to enable them to quickly adjust the radio parameters. The Aeroflex IFR 2975 provides that full functionality suite of features. Our collaboration with Aeroflex has enabled us to develop a standard suite set of tests that can be loaded onto the IFR 2975 in order to simplify the test setups for our customers enabling them to deploy our radios even faster."

"Aeroflex is pleased to be working with Daniels on the development of these test procedures for the very popular Daniels' radios. The rapid development of these test suites in conjunction with Daniels exemplifies the tremendous flexibility of the IFR 2975 radio test set. Our goal was to take the complexity out of digital radio test procedures and simplify them. Now, service professionals can simply recall a pre-configured test configuration, and test, align and verify radio performance," said Rob Barden, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Aeroflex

The suite of tests are available electronically from Daniels by contacting the Technical Service department at Service@danelec.com. The tests also can be accessed at www.P25.com.
