DANIELS ELECTRONICS IS AWARDED A 3RD CONTRACT WORTH $9.7 MILLION WITH A US GOVERNMENT AGENCY

Victoria, B.C. Canada - September 27, 2006 – Daniels Electronics Ltd., a leading Canadian supplier of high reliability Land Mobile Radio (LMR) radio equipment, today announced it has been awarded a 3 rd large contract worth $9.7 Million with a US government agency for the supply of digital public safety radios using its latest generation of firmware based digital radio technology. This follows on recent announcements of $4 Million and $8 Million awards.

This contract will be used by the US government agency over the next 2 years to expand and upgrade the government’s radio networks to provide state of the art digital communications for the first line public safety responders as well as other government radio users.
