At IWCE in Las Vegas Daniels announced three new products including:
A briefcase repeater (shown to the right) offering a complete radio solution in a compact briefcase that can be carried by one person.
The briefcase repeater uses standard Daniels modules thus allowing it to operate in either analog (Lowband, VHF, UHF or 800 MHz frequency bands) or P25 digital mode (VHF or UHF frequency Bands).
Included in the package is a 8.5 A-H battery, AC-DC power supply with battery charging circuit, 2 MHz separation duplexer and optional 30W PA if configured as a base station.
For additional information please refer to our website.
The Daniels Digital Ethernet Universal Interface Card (UIC) (shown to the right) provides a digital Ethernet connection from the Daniels MT-4 P25 radio system to other LMR subsystems in a P25 network.
In accordance with the TIA APCO P25 general system model, this interface interconnects the Fixed Station (Daniels Radio) to a Console or RF subsystem at the EF connection.
This interface provides digital audio, new features and greater connectivity between P25 subsystems.
The new Universal interface provides Daniels customers with access to all of the Daniels P25 base station’s signals through an Ethernet interface.
This provides additional functionality compared with the analog offering currently supported on Daniels radios via the Auxiliary interface.
Full details on the UIC are available on the Daniels website.
Finally Daniels has entered into an agreement with Omnitronics from Australia to represent their line of audio bridge products in North America.
These products are now available from Daniels Electronics.
The 619 family of audio bridges cost effectively enable interoperability between radios from different manufacturers and with varying signaling requirements.
The 619 brings together CTCSS, in-band keying, VOX, SELCAL and DTMF signaling with a number of programmable configuration overlays.
This provides users with the ability to dynamically configure radio networks to suit operational requirements and, through a Windows graphical user interface, makes radio interconnection easier than ever before.
